Duality

This project was a multidisciplinary revue that combined various forms of storytelling like musical theatre, spoken word, burlesque, and dramatic monologues to explore the concept of Duality.  CJ worked with the cast to find authentic and unique interpretations of this theme: the earthly and the spiritual, joy and sorrow, reality and illusion.

By shifting between performance styles, the production created a layered experience that felt both personal and larger-than-life. Duality offered the audience and performers a chance to see how different forms of performance can intersect to tell stories about the contradictions we all live with.
